Premium Flowers for Every DC Occasion

Born in New York, inspired by Paris, and obsessed with getting the details right since 2012.

We opened our local Washington, D.C. atelier in 2021 because DC deserved a real local florist, bouquets made by people who truly love flowers. Every arrangement starts with hand-selected stems, sourced from trusted farms all around the world. Fresh shipments arrive several times a week, so nothing sits around waiting. Your flowers are arranged and on their way the same day you order.

Our florists arrange every bouquet by hand using a classic Parisian round-tied method, stems placed one by one for balance, proportion, and a silhouette that looks good from every angle. Each order leaves our studio wrapped in paper and tucked into our signature gift box. The details matter to us because they matter to the person receiving them.

Roses, Peonies, Tulips, and More

There's a bouquet here for every person and every mood.

Roses, our favorites, are for the classic gesture that never gets old. But our collection goes well beyond red roses with eucalyptus. Think velvety long-stem roses in vibrant pinks, soft lavender, fiery oranges, or graceful whites.

Seasonal peonies are so lush and soft that they almost don't look real, and they keep opening for days after they arrive. Tulips with that effortless spring freshness and clean seasonal colors that brighten any room. Orchids for someone who wants something exotic, out of the box, and that lasts. And our preserved roses are the gift that stays on the shelf long after the occasion has passed.

And if you can't quite decide, our signature bouquets are a great place to start. Designed by our florists and crafted with a mix of complementary blooms, they're the arrangements we're most proud of, and the ones that often make the biggest impression.

Birthdays, Anniversaries, Sympathy, and Every Moment Between

Some moments are easy to name. Birthday. Anniversary. Thank you. Others are harder to put into words, which is exactly what flowers are for. We have curated collections for the obvious occasions and the quieter ones too: get-well gestures, sympathy arrangements, congratulations, and the simple "just because" that doesn't need a reason. Browse our collections by occasion, and we'll point you in the right direction.

Flower Delivery to DC Hospitals & Medical Centers

Sending flowers to someone in a DC hospital requires a bit of local know-how. Most facilities route outside deliveries through a central receiving area or gift shop rather than directly to patient rooms, and certain units like ICUs, Burn Units, and Cardiac Care have strict restrictions on strongly scented flowers.

But don’t worry, we know all the protocols, and we make sure every hospital delivery is handled properly.

MedStar Washington Hospital Center & Children's National Hospital

At MedStar Washington Hospital Center, deliveries from outside florists are routed through the central receiving area or the on-site gift shop for internal distribution to patients. Children's National is a strictly latex-free environment, so all arrangements must be latex-free as well. Make sure to include the patient's full name and room number when placing your order so the delivery reaches the right person without delay.

George Washington University Hospital

Deliveries to GW Hospital are accepted at the main information desk. For direct bedside delivery, the hospital recommends using their internal gift shop service. We'll coordinate accordingly and make sure your arrangement gets where it needs to go.

Howard University Hospital & Sibley Memorial

At Howard University Hospital, flowers are welcome in all non-ICU units, though outside food is not permitted alongside arrangements. At Sibley Memorial, all floral deliveries are managed through the Serenity Gift Shop in Building A. Include as much detail as possible about your recipient when ordering, and we'll take care of the rest.

Kaiser Permanente Medical Center & Veterans Affairs Medical Center

Both facilities hold outside deliveries at the main security or information desk for staff or patient pickup. This keeps hallway protocols intact and ensures your flowers are handled with care once they're inside. We'll deliver to the designated point and make sure the recipient is notified.

Flower Delivery to DC Universities & Campus Life

University deliveries in DC come with their own set of logistics. Most campuses don't allow outside couriers past the front gate or into residential halls, so deliveries are routed to central mailrooms, lobby package areas, or designated security desks. During graduation season, road closures and campus traffic often require a coordinated handoff near a campus landmark. We know how each campus works, and we plan accordingly.

Georgetown University & George Washington University

At Georgetown, outside florists aren't permitted inside individual dorm buildings. Arrangements are delivered to central mail services or designated lobby package areas like Kennedy Hall, and residents are notified to collect them. At GWU, all residential deliveries go to Mail and Package Services at 2025 F Street NW, where students are alerted to pick up their order. Faculty and departmental deliveries follow a separate process, so include the building and department at checkout.

American University, Howard University & Catholic University of America

At American University, deliveries go to the central mail hub at Letts Hall. Include the specific department and building name for faculty orders. Howard University centralizes all student deliveries through University Mail Services. At Catholic University, our couriers deliver to McMahon Hall, where students collect their arrangements from the Postal Services office.

Gallaudet University & Trinity Washington University

Both campuses accept deliveries at the main security gate or the central administrative mailroom for internal routing. Include the recipient's full name, student ID if available, and any department details to make sure your flowers reach the right person promptly.

Professional Delivery to Government Buildings & The Capitol Complex

DC is unlike any other city when it comes to deliveries near federal property. Couriers are not permitted inside federal buildings, and perishables, including flowers, are not accepted at Congressional acceptance sites. Every delivery to a government address requires coordination at a public security checkpoint or a staffed handoff point. We know the process, and we handle it correctly every time.

The U.S. Capitol & Congressional Office Buildings

Delivering to the Rayburn, Cannon, or Longworth House office buildings, or the Hart, Dirksen, or Russell Senate buildings, requires the recipient or a staffer to meet our courier at a public entrance. We'll coordinate that handoff directly and make sure the timing works. One thing worth knowing: flowers are historically prohibited on the Senate Floor, so deliveries are always routed to offices.

Federal Agencies (Department of Justice, Treasury & Commerce)

All arrangements destined for federal agency buildings pass through X-ray screening at a designated loading dock or visitor screening center before security accepts them. We factor this into our delivery planning so there are no delays on your end.

The Library of Congress & Supreme Court

Deliveries here are left with Court Security Officers or at the security desks of the Jefferson or Madison Buildings. All couriers are required to present a valid government-issued ID. We come prepared, and your flowers arrive without a hitch.

Floral Arrangements for DC Landmarks & Historic Venues

From Kennedy Center galas to embassy receptions, DC's landmark venues have their own delivery rhythms. Most require advance coordination and strict arrival windows. We've done this before, and we know how to make it seamless.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts

Event and performer deliveries at the Kennedy Center go through the Stage Door or the Tier 1 Security Entrance, and arrangements are often subject to off-site security screening before entering the building. If you're sending flowers for a performance, a cast member, or a private event, reach out to us in advance so we can plan the timing properly.

The National Mall & Memorials

Placing floral tributes at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, or other sites along the Mall often requires a Special Use Permit from the National Park Service for placement in designated Plaza areas. If you're planning something meaningful at one of these sites, get in touch with us early, and we'll help you navigate the process.

International Square & Embassy Row

Every embassy along Massachusetts Avenue NW is sovereign territory, which means delivery rules vary by country and by day. Many embassies will not accept unscheduled deliveries without prior recipient authorization. If you're sending flowers to an embassy, call ahead to the Embassy Guard or reception to confirm they're expecting a delivery. We'll handle the rest once the green light is given.

Frequently Asked Questions About DC Flower Delivery

Everything you need to know before placing your order, answered simply.

What is the daily cut-off time for same-day flower delivery in Washington, DC?

Our same-day delivery service is available Monday through Friday, 11 AM to 7 PM. For same-day delivery, place your order by 3:00 PM. Orders placed after the cut-off, or on weekends, are scheduled for the next available delivery day. You'll see the available dates for the product once you enter the recipient's zip code.

How much does flower delivery cost to different DC neighborhoods?

Delivery fees depend on the type and size of the bouquet, the delivery address, and the date of delivery. The exact delivery cost appears on the product page as soon as you enter the recipient's zip code and delivery date.

The total cost, including the bouquet itself, any optional gifts, and the delivery fee, will be shown to you before checkout, so you'll always know the total before you confirm your order.

Do you deliver on weekends in the Washington, D.C. area?

Same-day delivery is available Monday through Friday. If you're planning a weekend delivery, place your order by Friday's cut-off and schedule it for the following Monday. We'll have it there fresh.

Can you deliver directly to a hotel or restaurant in DC?

Yes. We deliver to hotels, restaurants, event venues, and corporate addresses throughout the District. For hotel deliveries, include the guest's name and room number if you have it. For restaurants and event venues, a heads-up to the front desk never hurts. We'll coordinate on our end to make sure everything lands smoothly.

What happens if the recipient is not home at their apartment or office?

All of our bouquets come with a signature release, which means someone doesn't need to be there to receive them. Our courier will leave the arrangement in a safe spot, with a doorkeeper, a concierge, or a secure area near the entrance. Including the recipient's phone number at checkout helps us sort out any unexpected situations quickly.

How are the flowers packaged to survive city transit?

Every bouquet leaves our Silver Spring atelier wrapped in natural paper and placed in our signature protective pink box, with the water-filled “sleeve”, designed to keep the arrangement stable and the stems hydrated during transit. The packaging holds its shape through traffic, elevator rides, and doorstep handoffs. Plus, it looks really nice!

Can I order a custom arrangement for a DC wedding or corporate event?

Yes, we work with couples, event planners, and corporate clients on larger floral projects across the D.C. area. Get in touch with our team directly to talk through what you have in mind, timeline, volume, and style, and we'll put together something that fits.
