Manhattan Flower Delivery

Born in New York, inspired by Paris, and genuinely proud to call this city home since 2012.

Our founders are two Frenchmen, Louis and Olivier, who moved to New York chasing careers in finance and landed in a city that had everything except one thing they truly missed. Back in France, flowers aren't reserved for Valentine's Day or a hospital visit. They are a part of your everyday life and rituals. You pick a bouquet at the farmers market for your dining table, bring them to a family dinner party, and you give them to your best friend on a random Wednesday. That gap is exactly what Ode à la Rose was built to fill.

Our Long Island City atelier is where every Manhattan order starts. Every morning, our skilled florists hand-tie each bouquet. We use only premium stems from farms we've worked with for years, known for outstanding flowers and ethical practices. Fresh shipments arrive throughout the week, nothing sits around waiting, and every arrangement goes out the same day you order it. We pay close attention to detail, so stylish packaging is an important last touch.

After that, our delivery team takes over. A doorman building on the Upper East Side or a walk-up in the East Village, we know how Manhattan works. Your flowers will arrive in pristine condition, fresh, and right on time.

And if your delivery location is on the Upper East Side or nearby, there’s a chance your bouquet will arrive with our Petal Messenger. It’s our new, charming-looking electric delivery vehicle, which brings sustainability and additional romantic flair to our delivery service!

Roses, Peonies, Tulips, and More

Let's talk about what's actually in the studio. Roses first, they are our favorites, and we don't hide it. Sourced from high-altitude farms in Ecuador and Colombia, in deep red, blush pink, warm orange, soft lavender, and clean white. Classic, but never boring. Peonies arrive tight and open slowly into massive, ruffled blooms that fill a room with fragrance. Seasonal, so when they're here, don't think too long about it. Tulips with clean lines and a color range that goes from barely-there pastels to deep, saturated reds and purples. Understated but cheerful. Mixed bouquets are what happens when our florists get creative with their favorite blooms.

Orchids for the person whose apartment already looks like a design magazine. Sculptural, long-lasting, low-maintenance. Potted plants for the person who wants something living on their windowsill three months from now. Preserved roses are real roses treated to stay soft, vivid, and freshly cut-looking for a year or more. No water, no maintenance, no wilting on day eight. Want to add something alongside the bouquet? Chocolates, French macarons, candles, spa kits, vases, or organic non-alcoholic champagne.

Roses, Peonies, Tulips and all other flowers available in Manhattan.

Birthdays, Anniversaries, Sympathy, and Every Moment Between

Different occasions bring different emotions, so consequently, they require different flowers also. Not just different colors, but a different presence entirely.  A birthday bouquet should bring color and energy. An anniversary wants something that feels like it took thought. Sympathy wants peaceful, comforting warmth. And a just-because on a random Thursday? That one just needs to be beautiful.

Whatever brought you here today, we've got flowers for it. For the occasions you've had circled on your calendar for weeks, like Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and graduation. The ones that sneak up on you, like a new baby, a housewarming, or a friend who could really use a get-well bouquet showing up at their door. And the ones that are simply good manners, like thank you and congratulations.

Browse by occasion, and something will click.

Flowers for birthdays and other important occasions in Manhattan.

Flower Delivery to Manhattan Hospitals & Medical Centers

Manhattan hospitals keep courier deliveries at the lobby level. We drop arrangements at the main reception desk or information booth, and hospital staff handles internal routing from there. Fresh flowers and live plants are not accepted in ICUs, NICUs, PICUs, operating rooms, oncology units, or transplant units. Please include the patient’s full legal name, exact room number, and pavilion or building name at checkout.

NewYork-Presbyterian / Weill Cornell Medical Center

Deliveries go to the approved reception areas at the David H. Koch Center or the Greenberg Pavilion. Fresh flowers are not accepted in the ICU, labor and delivery, or oncology wings, and latex balloons are not permitted. Morning delivery is best here, especially with York Avenue traffic. Please include the exact building or pavilion, patient name, and room number.

NYU Langone Health, Tisch Hospital & Kimmel Pavilion

NYU Langone deliveries go to the main lobby information desk. Couriers cannot go past security, so a support person, floor nurse, or staff member will need to collect the arrangement. Flowers are not permitted in hemodialysis, transfusion, or infusion treatment areas. Include the patient’s full name, room number, and correct building.

The Mount Sinai Hospital

Mount Sinai deliveries are routed through the main information areas at the Guggenheim Pavilion or Klingenstein Clinical Center. Fresh flowers are not accepted in bone marrow transplant units, PICU, or NICU rooms. Because the campus spans several blocks, please include the exact pavilion name, entrance avenue, patient name, and room number.

Flower Delivery to Manhattan Universities

Manhattan campuses do not allow outside couriers into dorm rooms or past residential security. Deliveries go to student mailrooms, package centers, residence hall desks, or require a direct handoff outside the building. Please include the recipient’s full name, phone number, and any required student ID or mailroom details.

Columbia University, Morningside Heights

Columbia student deliveries go to the Student Mail Center on the lower level of Wien Hall. Include the student’s full name and University Network ID, also known as their UNI. Arrangements are held for up to 7 business days. Couriers park on Broadway or Amsterdam Avenue and walk deliveries in.

New York University, Washington Square

NYU residence halls each have their own 24/7 security desk. Couriers leave arrangements with the residential security officer in the ground-floor lobby. The delivery is logged, and the student is notified to come down and collect it. Please include the student’s full name, residence hall, room number, and phone number.

Flower Delivery to Manhattan Work and Office Locations

Manhattan office buildings usually route flowers through security desks, messenger centers, service entrances, or loading docks. Couriers are not typically allowed into passenger elevators or individual suites. Please include the recipient’s full name, company name, floor, suite number, and direct phone number. Corporate deliveries should be scheduled before 5 PM.

Midtown & Financial District Towers

Deliveries are usually dropped at the messenger center or ground-floor security desk. Couriers use the service entrance or side-street loading dock when required, and building staff notify the recipient once the arrangement is logged.

Hudson Yards & Midtown West

Newer office buildings in Hudson Yards and Midtown West often use dedicated package rooms, loading docks, and reception desks. Include the full name, company, floor, suite, and phone number so the delivery can be routed without delay.

Flower Delivery to Manhattan Apartments

Manhattan apartment delivery depends on the building. Doorman buildings are simple. Walk-ups and brownstones need access.

Doorman Buildings, Upper East Side, Upper West Side & Tribeca

Couriers leave the arrangement with the concierge, doorman, or package room. Building staff log the delivery and store it safely until the resident collects it. Please include the recipient’s full name and apartment number.

Walk-Ups & Brownstones, West Village, East Village & Lower East Side

Walk-ups and brownstones usually have locked vestibules and no front desk. Someone needs to buzz the courier in, or you’ll need to provide an entry code at checkout. Please include the recipient’s phone number so we can coordinate the handoff if needed. We do not leave flowers outside or in unsecured entryways.

Frequently Asked Questions About Manhattan Flower Delivery

Now, let’s go through the information that most of our customers are asking about:

What is the daily cut-off time for same-day flower delivery in Manhattan?

For most Manhattan zip codes, we offer three delivery windows every day of the week:

  • Morning (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM): order by 10:00 AM
  • Afternoon (1:00 PM – 5:00 PM): order by 2:00 PM
  • Evening (5:00 PM – 9:00 PM): order by 6:00 PM Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM on weekends

Manhattan is a big place, though, and a handful of zip codes follow a slightly different schedule. The easiest way to see exactly what's available for your specific address is to enter the delivery date and zip code on the product page. Everything will be laid out clearly before you commit to anything.

How much does delivery cost to different Manhattan neighborhoods?

Delivery fees depend on the type of bouquet, its size, the delivery address, and the date. Enter the recipient's zip code and delivery date on the product page, and the exact cost appears before checkout.  Final price includes the bouquet itself, any additional gifts you may have added, and the delivery fee. No surprises, no hidden fees.

Do you deliver on weekends in the Manhattan area?

Yes, we deliver on both Saturday and Sunday. The morning and afternoon windows are the same as weekdays, but the evening cut-off is 5:00 PM instead of 6:00 PM, so keep that in mind if you're planning a weekend surprise for later in the day.

Can you deliver directly to a hotel or restaurant in Manhattan?

Absolutely. We bring flowers to hotels, restaurants, event venues, and private dining rooms across Manhattan. For hotel deliveries, please include the guest's name and room number if you have it, so we can locate them more easily. For restaurants and venues, a quick heads-up to the front desk on your end never hurts, though it's not required.

What happens if the recipient is not home at their apartment or office?

Every bouquet ships with a signature release, meaning someone doesn't need to be present to receive it. Our courier will leave the arrangement with a doorkeeper, concierge, or in a safe spot near the entrance. Including the recipient's phone number at checkout helps us easily sort out any unexpected situations on the spot.

How are the flowers packaged to survive city transit?

Every bouquet leaves our Long Island City studio wrapped in natural paper and placed in our gorgeous protective pink box, with a water-filled sleeve that keeps the stems hydrated throughout the journey. The packaging holds its shape through traffic, elevator rides, and doorstep handoffs. Yes, flowers will arrive safely, but the packaging is also stylish!

Can I order a custom arrangement for a Manhattan wedding or corporate event?

Yes. We work with couples, event planners, and corporate clients on larger floral projects across Manhattan. Get in touch with our team directly to talk through what you have in mind, and we'll put together something that fits your vision, timeline, and budget.

Where is Ode à la Rose located, and how can I reach out?

Our atelier is at 21-43 44th Road, Long Island City, NY 11101. That's where every Manhattan order is arranged, wrapped, and sent out. You can reach us at +1 (646) 660-5281 or through our contact page if you have questions before placing your order.
