Premium Flowers for Every Brooklyn Occasion
French roots, New York heart, and a genuine love for this borough since 2012.
Our founders, Louis and Olivier, left Paris and came to New York for careers in finance, but quickly realized it was missing something they hold dear. In France, you don't wait for a birthday or a breakup to buy flowers. You pick up a bouquet on a Tuesday because the peonies looked good at the market, and you're just heading to a friend's place.
Every Brooklyn order starts just across the East River, at our Long Island City atelier. Our florists are in there every morning, pulling that week's freshest stems and hand-tying every arrangement using a classic French round-tied technique. Stems come from farms we've worked with for years in Ecuador, Colombia, and the Netherlands. Fresh shipments land multiple times a week, and the day you order is the day it goes out.
Roses, Peonies, Tulips, and More
Roses are our greatest love, and they’re always in the center of attention. Ours come from high-altitude farms in Ecuador and Colombia, known for their outstanding blooms. And we got them in classic red, blush pink, orange, lavender, and white. Peonies arrive as tight little buds and open over several days into enormous, ruffled, ridiculously fragrant things. Seasonal, so when they're here, don't overthink it. Tulips are quite attention-grabbers, with clean stems and simple shapes in colors ranging from barely-there ivory to a burgundy so deep it's almost black. And our mixed bouquets are where things get genuinely interesting, combinations you wouldn't expect but immediately love.
For something longer-lasting, potted plants are still going strong on someone's windowsill months later. Orchids for the person whose home already has a whole aesthetic going on and knows exactly where a bloom like this fits. Our forever roses are real roses, carefully preserved to keep their soft texture and rich color for months without water. And if you want to add something alongside the bouquet, we have chocolates, French macarons, a candle, a spa kit, a vase, or organic non-alcoholic champagne. We print your note on premium card stock, and if you want a photo included, we'll tuck that in too.
Birthdays, Anniversaries, Sympathy, and Every Moment Between
We've put together collections for all kinds of life occasions because not every moment calls for the same flowers. A birthday has a different feel than a get-well gift, and the flowers should reflect that. From the colors to the overall style, each collection is designed to help you find something that feels just right. So when your flowers arrive, they don't just make an impression, they feel like they belong to that moment.
- Birthday
- Anniversary
- Congratulations
- Thank You
- New Baby
- Get Well
- Sympathy
- Weddings and a lot more…
Browse by occasion, and the right bouquet will find you.
Brooklyn Neighborhoods We Serve
Brooklyn is seventy-one square miles of neighborhoods that all feel like their own small cities. We know them that way, and same-day delivery runs across the whole borough. Here's where we deliver.
North Brooklyn: Williamsburg, Greenpoint & Bushwick
Bedford Avenue boutiques, converted warehouse lofts along the waterfront and cobblestone side streets that somehow still exist between all the new construction. This is the creative corridor, and we run routes through all of it daily.
ZIP Codes: 11211, 11222, 11237, 11249
Downtown & Brownstone Brooklyn
Brooklyn Heights, Park Slope, Carroll Gardens, Fort Greene, Cobble Hill, DUMBO. Civic offices near Borough Hall, boutique businesses along Court Street, and some of the most beautiful tree-lined brownstone blocks in the city. For corporate or office deliveries, include the company name, floor, and suite number at checkout.
ZIP Codes: 11201, 11202, 11205, 11215, 11217, 11231, 11238, 11241, 11242, 11243, 11245, 11251
Central Brooklyn & the Industrial Waterfront
Red Hook event venues, the residential stretches of Bed-Stuy, Flatbush, Crown Heights, and Sunset Park, and the working waterfront in between. A wide, dense zone that covers a lot of Brooklyn's everyday life. We deliver to all of it, same day.
ZIP Codes: 11203, 11204, 11206, 11213, 11216, 11218, 11219, 11220, 11221, 11225, 11226, 11232, 11233, 11256
South & East Brooklyn
Bay Ridge, Coney Island, Canarsie, East New York, and everything in between. Wide residential streets, family homes, beachside addresses along the boardwalk. Same fresh flowers, same care, all the way to the southern and eastern edges of the borough.
ZIP Codes: 11207, 11208, 11209, 11210, 11212, 11214, 11223, 11224, 11228, 11229, 11230, 11234, 11235, 11236, 11239, 11247
Flower Delivery to Brooklyn Hospitals & Medical Centers
Brooklyn hospitals have strict delivery rules, and they’re pretty consistent across the facilities we serve. Outside couriers are not allowed past the lobby, so all arrangements are delivered through the main visitor entrance or central reception desk. From there, hospital staff handle the final delivery to the patient.
Fresh flowers and live plants are not allowed in ICUs, NICUs, or transplant units. To help everything go smoothly, please include the recipient’s full legal name, room number, pavilion, or department at checkout. We’ll take care of the rest.
NYU Langone Hospital, Brooklyn, Sunset Park
Located on 2nd Avenue in Sunset Park, NYU Langone sits in one of Brooklyn’s busiest industrial areas. Deliveries are brought through the main visitor entrance and left with the volunteer or reception desk.
Because of Gowanus Expressway traffic and heavy freight movement along 2nd Avenue, delivery timing can be a little unpredictable here. Morning deliveries are usually the safest choice.
Maimonides Medical Center, Borough Park
Maimonides is Brooklyn’s largest hospital and an important part of the Borough Park community. Deliveries follow the standard main lobby drop-off process.
For Friday deliveries, we recommend placing your order early. The surrounding neighborhood has a large Orthodox Jewish community, and hospital activity can shift before Sabbath begins at sundown. Morning delivery is strongly recommended on Fridays.
NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, Park Slope
Brooklyn Methodist is tucked into a residential stretch of 6th Street in Park Slope, where the roads are narrow, and parking is limited. All flower deliveries go through the main Carrington Pavilion lobby. Our couriers know the block well and move quickly to make the handoff as smooth as possible.
Flower Delivery to Brooklyn Universities
Brooklyn campuses all work a little differently, but one rule is the same across the board: we cannot deliver directly to dorm rooms or residential halls. Arrangements are usually held at a central mailroom, security desk, or package area for students to pick up.
Please include your recipient’s phone number at checkout so we can coordinate any gate, security, or pickup details if needed.
CUNY Kingsborough Community College, Manhattan Beach
Kingsborough is a large, gated 71-acre campus at the southern tip of Brooklyn. Couriers check in at the main security booths off Oriental Boulevard, then leave arrangements at the security office or campus mailroom.
A recipient phone number is especially important here. The campus is big, and clear contact details help prevent delays.
CUNY City Tech, Downtown Brooklyn
City Tech is a vertical campus in the middle of Downtown Brooklyn, with building security similar to a corporate office. Deliveries are left at the ground-floor security turnstiles or central package receiving area.
As long as the recipient details are complete at checkout, this is usually a quick and straightforward delivery.
Pratt Institute, Clinton Hill
Pratt’s enclosed Clinton Hill campus is surrounded by brick walls and iron gates. Student deliveries go to the central mailroom, so please include the recipient’s exact mailbox number.
For faculty or department deliveries, include the building name, department, and any helpful office details at checkout.
Flower Delivery to Brooklyn Work and Office Locations
Brooklyn business addresses vary a lot. Some downtown office towers run just like Manhattan high-rises, while large industrial campuses can be much harder to navigate without detailed instructions. Here’s what helps.
Downtown Brooklyn & MetroTech Center
The office towers around MetroTech follow a standard high-rise delivery setup. Couriers leave arrangements with the messenger center or ground-floor security desk, and building staff handle the internal notification.
Please include the recipient’s full name, company, floor, and suite number so the delivery can be logged and routed properly.
Industry City & Brooklyn Navy Yard
Industry City and the Brooklyn Navy Yard are not typical office buildings. They’re large, multi-building complexes with converted warehouses, courtyards, loading docks, and security checkpoints.
A street address alone usually is not enough. Please include the building number, floor, suite or unit number, and a direct phone number for your recipient. The more detail we have, the smoother the delivery.
Williamsburg & Greenpoint Studios and Boutiques
Many creative studios, agencies, and boutique storefronts in Williamsburg and Greenpoint open later in the day, often around 11 AM or noon. If you’re sending flowers to a business in this area, it’s a good idea to check their hours before ordering and choose a delivery window that matches.
Flower Delivery to Brooklyn Apartments
Brooklyn apartment deliveries can vary from one block to the next. Brownstones, walk-ups, converted lofts, and luxury towers all have different access rules.
We do not leave flowers unattended on a stoop, sidewalk, or outside a building. There’s too much foot traffic, weather, and risk involved. Here’s how we handle the most common Brooklyn apartment setups.
Historic Brownstones & Walk-Ups, Park Slope, Bed-Stuy, Cobble Hill
Classic Brooklyn brownstones and rowhouses often have a locked iron gate, a heavy vestibule door, and no doorman inside. Someone will need to be home to buzz in our courier, or you’ll need to provide a gate code at checkout.
If no one is home and we do not have access instructions, we cannot leave the arrangement outside.
Converted Industrial Lofts, Bushwick, DUMBO, Williamsburg
Converted factory buildings can be tricky. Buzzer systems are often retrofitted, entrances are not always obvious, and freight elevators can take extra time.
Clear instructions make a big difference. Please include the buzzer code, entrance notes, and any helpful details, such as “use the side entrance on Water Street.”
Modern High-Rises, Downtown Brooklyn & Williamsburg Waterfront
Modern high-rises usually work much like Manhattan luxury buildings. A doorman, concierge, or package desk accepts the arrangement, logs it, and keeps it safe until the recipient picks it up.
For these deliveries, the most important details are the recipient’s full name and apartment number.
Frequently Asked Questions About Brooklyn Flower Delivery
Everything you need to know before you order, answered simply.
What is the daily cut-off time for same-day flower delivery in Brooklyn?
For most Brooklyn zip codes, we offer three delivery windows every day of the week, with two delivery windows:
- 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM: order by 2:00 PM
- 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM: order by 5:00 PM
A handful of Brooklyn zip codes follow a slightly different schedule depending on distance from our studio, so the most reliable way to check is to enter your delivery zip code and date on the product page. Every available window will show up right there before you commit to anything.
How much does delivery cost to different Brooklyn neighborhoods?
Delivery fees depend on the size and type of the bouquet, the delivery address, and the date. Enter the recipient's zip code and your preferred delivery date on the product page, and the full price, bouquet, any add-ons, and the delivery fee all show up before you confirm. Nothing hidden, no surprise at the last step.
Do you deliver on weekends in Brooklyn?
Yes, both Saturday and Sunday, same windows as weekdays. Order by 2:00 PM for the afternoon run, or by 5:00 PM if you need an evening delivery. Enter your zip code and preferred date on the product page to see exactly what's available.
Can you deliver to a hotel or restaurant in Brooklyn?
Absolutely. We deliver to hotels, restaurants, event venues, and private spaces all across Brooklyn.
For hotel deliveries, just include the guest's name and room number at checkout, and we'll leave the arrangement with the concierge or front desk for easy handoff. If you're sending flowers to a restaurant or event venue, it's always a good idea to let the staff know they're coming. A quick heads-up can make delivery even smoother, especially during busy service hours or large events. Once we have the details, we'll take it from there.
What happens if no one is home when the flowers arrive?
No need to worry if your recipient won't be home when the flowers arrive. Every bouquet is delivered with a signature release, allowing our courier to leave the arrangement with a doorman, building staff member, or in another secure location when appropriate.
For extra peace of mind, include the recipient's phone number at checkout. If anything unexpected comes up, we'll be able to contact them directly and keep the delivery on track.
How are the flowers packaged for Brooklyn's streets and walkups?
Every bouquet leaves our Long Island City studio carefully wrapped in natural paper and tucked inside our signature pink box. The stems are placed in a water-filled sleeve to keep the flowers fresh and hydrated throughout the journey.
From delivery vans and elevators to walk-up apartment buildings, our packaging is designed to protect every arrangement along the way.
Can I order a custom arrangement for a Brooklyn wedding or event?
Yes. We work with couples, event planners, and corporate clients on larger floral projects throughout Brooklyn and the wider New York area. Reach out to our team directly with your vision, your timeline, and your budget, and we'll build something that fits.
Where is Ode à la Rose located, and how can I get in touch?
Our atelier is at 21-43 44th Road, Long Island City, NY 11101, just across the East River from Brooklyn. Every Brooklyn order is arranged, wrapped, and dispatched from here. You can reach us at +1 (646) 660-5281 or through our contact page any time before you order.
