Flower Delivery to Brooklyn Hospitals & Medical Centers

Brooklyn hospitals have strict delivery rules, and they’re pretty consistent across the facilities we serve. Outside couriers are not allowed past the lobby, so all arrangements are delivered through the main visitor entrance or central reception desk. From there, hospital staff handle the final delivery to the patient.

Fresh flowers and live plants are not allowed in ICUs, NICUs, or transplant units. To help everything go smoothly, please include the recipient’s full legal name, room number, pavilion, or department at checkout. We’ll take care of the rest.

NYU Langone Hospital, Brooklyn, Sunset Park

Located on 2nd Avenue in Sunset Park, NYU Langone sits in one of Brooklyn’s busiest industrial areas. Deliveries are brought through the main visitor entrance and left with the volunteer or reception desk.

Because of Gowanus Expressway traffic and heavy freight movement along 2nd Avenue, delivery timing can be a little unpredictable here. Morning deliveries are usually the safest choice.

Maimonides Medical Center, Borough Park

Maimonides is Brooklyn’s largest hospital and an important part of the Borough Park community. Deliveries follow the standard main lobby drop-off process.

For Friday deliveries, we recommend placing your order early. The surrounding neighborhood has a large Orthodox Jewish community, and hospital activity can shift before Sabbath begins at sundown. Morning delivery is strongly recommended on Fridays.

NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, Park Slope

Brooklyn Methodist is tucked into a residential stretch of 6th Street in Park Slope, where the roads are narrow, and parking is limited. All flower deliveries go through the main Carrington Pavilion lobby. Our couriers know the block well and move quickly to make the handoff as smooth as possible.

Flower Delivery to Brooklyn Universities

Brooklyn campuses all work a little differently, but one rule is the same across the board: we cannot deliver directly to dorm rooms or residential halls. Arrangements are usually held at a central mailroom, security desk, or package area for students to pick up.

Please include your recipient’s phone number at checkout so we can coordinate any gate, security, or pickup details if needed.

CUNY Kingsborough Community College, Manhattan Beach

Kingsborough is a large, gated 71-acre campus at the southern tip of Brooklyn. Couriers check in at the main security booths off Oriental Boulevard, then leave arrangements at the security office or campus mailroom.

A recipient phone number is especially important here. The campus is big, and clear contact details help prevent delays.

CUNY City Tech, Downtown Brooklyn

City Tech is a vertical campus in the middle of Downtown Brooklyn, with building security similar to a corporate office. Deliveries are left at the ground-floor security turnstiles or central package receiving area.

As long as the recipient details are complete at checkout, this is usually a quick and straightforward delivery.

Pratt Institute, Clinton Hill

Pratt’s enclosed Clinton Hill campus is surrounded by brick walls and iron gates. Student deliveries go to the central mailroom, so please include the recipient’s exact mailbox number.

For faculty or department deliveries, include the building name, department, and any helpful office details at checkout.

Flower Delivery to Brooklyn Work and Office Locations

Brooklyn business addresses vary a lot. Some downtown office towers run just like Manhattan high-rises, while large industrial campuses can be much harder to navigate without detailed instructions. Here’s what helps.

Downtown Brooklyn & MetroTech Center

The office towers around MetroTech follow a standard high-rise delivery setup. Couriers leave arrangements with the messenger center or ground-floor security desk, and building staff handle the internal notification.

Please include the recipient’s full name, company, floor, and suite number so the delivery can be logged and routed properly.

Industry City & Brooklyn Navy Yard

Industry City and the Brooklyn Navy Yard are not typical office buildings. They’re large, multi-building complexes with converted warehouses, courtyards, loading docks, and security checkpoints.

A street address alone usually is not enough. Please include the building number, floor, suite or unit number, and a direct phone number for your recipient. The more detail we have, the smoother the delivery.

Williamsburg & Greenpoint Studios and Boutiques

Many creative studios, agencies, and boutique storefronts in Williamsburg and Greenpoint open later in the day, often around 11 AM or noon. If you’re sending flowers to a business in this area, it’s a good idea to check their hours before ordering and choose a delivery window that matches.

Flower Delivery to Brooklyn Apartments

Brooklyn apartment deliveries can vary from one block to the next. Brownstones, walk-ups, converted lofts, and luxury towers all have different access rules.

We do not leave flowers unattended on a stoop, sidewalk, or outside a building. There’s too much foot traffic, weather, and risk involved. Here’s how we handle the most common Brooklyn apartment setups.

Historic Brownstones & Walk-Ups, Park Slope, Bed-Stuy, Cobble Hill

Classic Brooklyn brownstones and rowhouses often have a locked iron gate, a heavy vestibule door, and no doorman inside. Someone will need to be home to buzz in our courier, or you’ll need to provide a gate code at checkout.

If no one is home and we do not have access instructions, we cannot leave the arrangement outside.

Converted Industrial Lofts, Bushwick, DUMBO, Williamsburg

Converted factory buildings can be tricky. Buzzer systems are often retrofitted, entrances are not always obvious, and freight elevators can take extra time.

Clear instructions make a big difference. Please include the buzzer code, entrance notes, and any helpful details, such as “use the side entrance on Water Street.”

Modern High-Rises, Downtown Brooklyn & Williamsburg Waterfront

Modern high-rises usually work much like Manhattan luxury buildings. A doorman, concierge, or package desk accepts the arrangement, logs it, and keeps it safe until the recipient picks it up.

For these deliveries, the most important details are the recipient’s full name and apartment number.
