In a city full of everything, we couldn’t find the flowers we loved
We’re Louis and Olivier, co-founders of Ode à la Rose. Years ago, we left France for New York City, ready to build our careers in banking. The city was thrilling, full of possibility, yet something was missing. The flowers.
In France, bouquets aren’t just decoration. They carry meaning. They speak when words fall short. From the type of bloom to the number of stems, every detail tells a story. In New York, we couldn’t find arrangements that felt alive with that same heart and poetry.
So in 2012, we swapped numbers and spreadsheets for stems and rafia, and created Ode à la Rose: a flower atelier built on French craft and everyday beauty.
Today, our team hand-ties every bouquet with care, wrapping each one in our signature style. From birthdays to just-because moments, we help people say what matters most, à la parisienne. Because flowers, when done right, speak a universal language of love, joy, and connection.
OUR JOURNEY

2012 – Ode à la Rose is founded in New York City. What began as local delivery soon grew to reach homes across the Northeast.

2018 – We opened our second atelier in Chicago, extending same-day delivery to the city and next-day bouquets to surrounding suburbs and states.

2019 – We joined forces with Bastille Flowers & Events, bringing even more artistry and expertise to our team.

2020 – A year of expansion: we introduced preserved roses and launched nationwide delivery, making it possible to send our flowers anywhere in the U.S.

2021 – New ateliers opened in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C., bringing Ode closer to more communities.

2022 – Austin joined our growing family of ateliers in June, followed by Miami in August.
