Where do our flowers come from?
Our bouquets are truly international! In order to ensure we offer the highest quality and freshest flowers, we buy them from only the most trusted suppliers worldwide. Due to favorable growing and shipping conditions, however, many of our roses come from Ecuador and Colombia, and we receive flowers and foliage from Italy, Holland, France among other countries.
Do you use only roses in your bouquets?
Nope! When we started out, we focused on rose bouquets and offered only premium rose arrangements. As we grew and developed a loyal client base, we wanted to expand our offerings and switch things up. Now we offer amazing seasonal flowers like peonies, tulips and ranunculus, as well as bouquets with an assorted arrangement of blooms. We'll always keep our dear collection of classic rose bouquets, but we're always looking for new ways to please our flower-lovers.
How are our bouquets prepared?
All of our bouquets are prepared in our local workshops in NYC, Chicago, or Philadelphia, by our specially trained florists. All of our florists have mastered the French method of rounded, hand-tied bouquets.
Do all our bouquets come in a vase?
No, but vases are available to add to our bouquets at checkout! Some of our arrangements do come with a vase included like our Petite rose bouquets in the small jar and our Grand rose bouquets. In these cases, we clearly state that the vase is included in the product description. If you see a vase available to add, that means the vase is not included. All of arrangements do come in water we use a water-filled plastic container, nestled in the box so the stems stay hydrated.
Can I send a message along with my Ode à la Rose bouquet?
Yes the note is one of the most important parts! After you have selected your favorite bouquet, you will be given the opportunity to write a few words on our specially designed Ode à la Rose cards. You can also choose to upload a favorite photograph, which we will print out on glossy paper and include with your note.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards. PayPal users can also pay with their PayPal account.
How do I know my payment is secure?
At Ode à la Rose, we take your security very seriously. Your payment is processed using the latest industry security standards. All transactions are carried out within a secure payment zone. Just look for the padlock symbol at the bottom of your computer screen.
When is my credit/debit card charged?
After an initial security check has been successful, your full order payment is normally reserved within five or ten minutes. If there is a problem securing this authorization you will be notified on the spot and prompted to use another card. These reserved funds are then charged when we dispatch your order. If there are problems with your payment there may be a delay processing your order. If we are unable to successfully process payment your order may be cancelled, however you will be notified of this via email or phone.
Do I have to pay sales tax?
Ode à la Rose only charges sales tax for orders shipped within the States of New York, Illinois, and Pennsylvania. Sales tax is automatically computed on product(s) costs. You will have an opportunity to review this amount before submitting your order.
Where do you deliver?
Do you offer same day delivery?
We offer same day delivery in NYC from Monday to Saturday. The order deadline is 5:00pm from Monday to Friday and 12:00pm on Saturdays. We also deliver on Sundays, but you must place your order by 12:00pm on the Saturday prior.
In Chicago, we offer same day delivery from Monday to Friday and next day delivery on Saturday. The order deadline is 2:30pm for same day and 2:30pm Friday for Saturday delivery. We also offer same day delivery in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Miami and Austin.
Outside of these citeis, we offer next day delivery from Monday to Friday. The order deadline is 4:30pm.
Can I choose a time frame for my flower delivery?
For Manhattan deliveries, you will have the choice between three time slots: 9:00am to 1:00pm, 1:00pm to 5:00pm or, 5:00pm to 7:00pm. You will be able to choose from a morning or afternoon time window in all other same day delivery cities.
For next day deliveries, all deliveries are made between 9:00am and 7:00pm. However, most of our deliveries are made before 5:00pm
What is the delivery fee?
Our delivery fee ranges from $4.99 for our Petit bouquets to $24.99 for our big bouquets.
What happens if the recipient is not there?
All our bouquets automatically have a "signature release," which means that our bouquets can be dropped off without requiring a signature. In most cases, the delivery driver will knock or ring the bell, and if there is no answer, will leave the product somewhere safe at the delivery location. Please be sure to include your recipients' cell phone number in your order so that we may contact them with any questions during delivery, but don't worry we won't call in advance and ruin the surprise!
I made a mistake in my order. What should I do?
Please contact our Customer Service department (email@example.com) as quickly as possible, so that your changes can be taken into account before delivery. Please include your order number to help our staff process your request as quickly as possible.

How are the flowers packaged and delivered?
Most our bouquets are placed in our anti-spill vase filled with water to ensure that they are hydrated during shipping and delivered in our signature gift box.
When do you send a photo of the arrangement?
We'll send you the photo of the exact bouquet you ordered once it leaves our workshop. So, you'll get the see the arrangement and you'll know your bouquet is on its way!
