Dried roses can embellish a jar and allow you to remember a special occasion (Valentine’s Day, birthday, Mother’s Day, etc.) by making your floral gift last forever. It’s also a great table centerpiece to make table decorations come together. And if your boyfriend has left you, you can still commemorate your relationship with the dried version of the bouquet he gave you.
Here are the 5 steps to dry your flowers, nothing complicated:
#1 Remove the roses from the vase and dry off the stems.
#2 Secure the stems with a tie. Don’t forget to leave an extra length of tie to hang the bouquet with.
#3 Hang the bouquet upside down in a dark and dry room.
#4 When you feel that the roses are completely dry you can take the bouquet.
Extra tips: be patient, it can take up to ten days for the roses to dry; and be careful, dried roses are very fragile.
