For Elisa, founder of Maman, the holidays begin long before the first guests arrive. They start with the small things: a handful of flowers on the counter, branches gathered from the market, a few vintage bottles waiting to become vases. A table that slowly takes shape, object by object.
This is the spirit that guided our winter collaboration with her: something warm, simple, and easy to live with.
A bouquet to brighten winter days
Together, we imagined Winter Whisper, a limited-edition bouquet built around soft tones and natural textures, inspired by Elisa’s way of welcoming people into her home.
As she shared with us: “I’m drawn to neutrals, evergreens, and delicate flowers… something simple and timeless.”

Available in two sizes, Winter Whisper works beautifully on both intimate holiday tables and larger gatherings.
A cookbook to bring the season to life
To complete the collaboration, we’re pairing the bouquet with the maman cookbook, a collection of 100 recipes that feels just as warm and thoughtful as the bouquet itself. From pastries to family dishes passed down through generations, it’s the kind of book you keep open on the counter throughout the season.

A conversation with Elisa Marshall
We asked Elisa about her love of flowers, her inspirations, and what makes a home feel ready for the season.
For those who don’t know you yet, can you introduce yourself?
My name is Elisa Marshall. I’m the owner and co-founder of maman, and a lover of all things beautiful and well-made.
What is the story behind maman?
maman began as a small café in Soho in 2014. We wanted to create a place that felt like home. Something warm, familiar, welcoming. Today we have over 50 locations, but the heart of it hasn’t changed: gathering people around good food and a thoughtful, comforting atmosphere.
How would you describe your relationship with flowers?
They’re essential. Flowers bring emotion into a space. They soften a room, a table, even a plate of pastries. And because they don’t last, you appreciate them more.
What is the first flower you ever loved?
Alyssum. I planted it with my mom in the rock garden of my childhood home in Toronto. It’s tiny and delicate: something you only notice if you take the time to look. That’s what I love most about it.
How do flowers show up in your everyday life?
Everywhere! I keep fresh flowers on tables, counters, and shelves. And for bigger arrangements, I use silk florals, they bring a sense of warmth that lasts.

What inspired the Winter Whisper bouquet?
I didn’t want anything classic red-and-green or overly festive. I love neutrals, evergreens, and small, detailed flowers. Something you can gift to anyone: soft, simple, and easy to live with.
If the bouquet were a maman pastry, which one would it be?
The pistachio croissant. Organic-looking, not too perfect, with delicate layers and a touch of sweetness.
And if it had a holiday song?
“I’ll Be Home for Christmas.” It’s nostalgic and warm: exactly how the holidays should feel.
What are your favorite ways to decorate a holiday table?
I like to use vintage bottles or small found objects as vases. Anything with a bit of history brings character to the table.
Where do you find your vintage pieces?
Everywhere: antique fairs, church sales, and especially France. My dad was an antique dealer, so I grew up surrounded by these objects. I love pieces that carry memories.
