how to care for your roses

A rose is like a woman: if you treat it right it will bloom! So please don’t forget to give a little attention to your roses! Once you receive your Ode à la Rose bouquet, remove the green humid floral foam at the bottom of the stems and follow these few quick easy steps in order to prolong the vase life of your arrangement.

step 1:

prepare the vase

Fill about 3/4 of a clean vase with fresh, room temperature water and don’t forget to add the flower food provided in your gift box.

step 3:

Cut the stems

ideally, cut about an inch off the stems at an angle, preferably with clippers, and place your roses immediately in the vase.

step 2:

Remove foliage

Before you place the flowers in the water, remove any foliage that may fall below the water line. This will prevent the growth of bacteria and enhance the vase life of your roses.

step 4:

Repeat every 2 to 3 days

Repeat these steps every 2 to 3 days. Fill your vase with clean water, remove any foliage under the waterline, cut the stems and place your bouquet back in the vase.
